Graduate Quantity Surveyor (6 positions available)

About you – Quantity Surveyor role

We are seeking a graduate quantity surveyor who is not only well-versed in the fundamentals of the discipline but also possesses a strong work ethic, a thirst for knowledge, and the ambition to contribute meaningfully to our projects.

• Qualification : HND/Diploma in Quantity Surveying / B.Sc In Quantity Surveying / Undergraduate Deg in Construction Management / B. Civil Engineering / B.Tech or similar
• Experience : 0-2 years experience with B.Sc or Undergrad in Construction Mgmt or B.Tech / 2+ years with B. Civil Engineering or Architecture related course

Other Qualification

• Knowledge in Bluebeam Revu or an equivalent estimating software will be an advantage but not compulsory.
• Excellent skills in Excel
• Excellent communication in English.

Role and Responsibility:

• Take-off all quantities from the received drawings and specifications including all items not mentioned in BOQ or not shown clearly in the drawings. (Pre-Contract Stage)
• Trade knowledge for Excavation, Painting, Facade/Cladding, Brickwork/Masonry and Reinforcement steel is mandatory.
• Past experience in Residential and Commercial Projects.
• Check and verify BOQ items with regards to quantity and specifications required and make a report accordingly.
• Check and verify project built-up area.
• Must own a laptop.
• Excellent Communication Skills and Command over English language.
• Writing down and reporting all discrepancies found in the tender document especially between drawings, specifications and BOQ.
• Create mark-ups and should be well versed with Softwares such as –  AutoCad 2D & 3D. Revit and Bluebeam software are an added advantage.
• Field experience will be advantageous.
• QS will be reporting to Lead QS and working in a team.
• Coordinating with other QS in the team.
• Taking off measurements using appropriate software.
• Ensuring taking offs produced, are of highest quality and free of negligence. 

*** Please note we are looking for candidates with experience in Building Sector.

*** You will be required to face 3 hr practical test during interview. If you are not familiar with Blubeam Revu, 15 minutes guidance session will be provided.
